Welp, I'm about to be failing 3 classes (even though I'm more advanced.) and I have to get those grades up before I start spewing out more tracks.  My teacher even told me that my "smartness" is keeping me bored of all the topics we were learning (in literature anyway.) So yeah, if you get a little bit of music, I'm working hard, if you get a lot, then msg me and tell me to stop slacking and do my work lmao.

You got this, man.

Rip m8 Hope u can soon make even more great music :)

I don't know if the thought of homeschooling ever crossed your mind, but with homeschooling, this kind of unjustified bullcrap basically never happens. I'm homeschooled, so I would know. xD

But seriously, consider it. There's a lot of fears that the public school system propagates, but almost none of them are true. There are some Facebook groups out there that you might want to check out if you're at all interested.

That's the best help I can give in the long term, but for right now, I suggest that you focus 184% of your energy to academics. You can revisit music making later, but failing academics in that kind of a situation is a massive future-killing trap. If that doesn't motivate you to temporarily set down music, I don't know what will.

P.S. : Technically speaking, I'm not legally considered to be a homeschooler, but a "virtual schooler". Basically, the Federal Government of the USA grants an amount of money to every student in the country, something like 13K per year, and virtual schooling is being attached to the public school system, but not actually in the brick-and-mortar school, so that we can still get that stipend of money. It's kind of an unstable system though, because DPI (the Department of Public Instruction) doesn't really like this kind of setup, and they have a decent amount of power in the courtroom. But we're doing okay so far. xD

I don't know where in the world you live, so I don't know if any of this applies to you, but if you happen to live in the USA, then you've got to take a look at this stuff. But regardless, if there's a way for you to detach from the public school system, look into it. Seriously.
